Product Description

The Pressurized Pond Filter with UV Clarifier combines biological filtration, mechanical filtration, bioballs, and water clarification in a single unit! The unit is adaptable to 1/2", 3/4", and 1" tubing sizes.

This pressurized pond filter is designed so that it can be used above ground, or partially buried to disguise it within your landscaping. The pressurized pond filter first pumps pressurized water through a UV clarifier to remove algae from your pond water, then the water is then forced through mechanical and biological foam filters to remove mechanical debris, and to maximize the growth of beneficial bacteria in your pond.

Regular filters rely on pond pumps for filtration power; however, because the pressure of the water decreases with distance and height from the pump, filtration is non-optimal in these cases. A pressurized pond filter is a sealed unit that maximizes both the mechanical and biological filtration capacities by pressurizing the water and forcing it through the filtration media.
