Algreen Logo The purpose of a pond skimmer is to remove debris from the top of the pond, before it can sink to the bottom of the pond. Algreen's pond skimmer pond filter is designed to support ponds up to 5000 gallons in volume. The pond skimmer's enclosure is manufactured from high molecular weight Polyethylene, which is able to withstand extreme temperatures and is guaranteed to last forever (backed by a lifetime warranty).

There is a significant amount of space in the pond skimmer which allows you to house any size of pump, such that the pump is hidden from view. The pond skimmer comes with a trap basket that acts as a mechanical filter, which is easy to remove and handle (providing you with ease of maintenance). An additional filter mat is included for secondary filtration.
