Installing your Pump

  1. Foutain Heads and Telescopic RiserRemove the pump for its packaging and attach the desired fountain head to the telescopic riser.
  2. Telescopic Riser and DiverterInsert the telescopic riser into the top of the diverter; be sure to push the riser all the way in so the hole through the riser is completely covered.
  3. Twist the diverter into the pump. Place the pre-filter into the filter case and attach to the front of the pump.
  4. Place one clamp on one end of the pond tubing and attach it to the diverter. Try to lubricate the diverter outlet with a non-toxic substance to ease the tubing on. Once the tubing is in place, tighten the clamp with a screwdriver.
  5. Using a pair of pliers, insert and twist on the waterfall attachment provided in the embedded fitting on the top underside of the waterfall.
  6. Place the second clamp on the other end of the tubing, and attach the tubing to the fitting. Once the tubing is in place, tighten the clamp with a screwdriver.
  7. Now that the pump and waterfall are connected, place the waterfall so that it is overhanging the pond by at least two inches. Once the pond is filled with water, place the pump into the pond. Run the cord over the side of the pond, and plug it into a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter), or into an outlet that includes a ground fault interrupter.
Please note:

Postitioning and Regulating the SuperFlo Pump

The garden pumps in the SuperFlo line have very compact dimensions which make them excellent for use in applications where space is a problem. These pumps have a special folding support which is very useful in situations where there is poor stability. To open and close the supports, it is sufficient to turn them. Before immersing the pump in water, you must prepare it for use. Take the telelscopic riser with regulating valve and, on the top of the end pipe, fit the spray you have chosen. Insert the accessories in the pump. Now you can position it inside the pump or fountain and, if it does not sit firmly on the bottom, place some stones on the top of the pump. Adapt the height of the pipe so that the spray is always above water level and plug the pump in.

Regulating the flow of water

To regulate the width and shape of the water, turn the valve on the diverter.

Maintenance

SuperFlo 800/13000

The SuperFlo 800/1300 Pumps are cetrifugal pumps with a magnetic movement, driven by a watertight synchronous motor. They require minimum maintenance, only periodic cleaning of the filtering material and the rotor.

Remember, before doing any work on your pump you MUST turn it off! To clean the filtering material, simply remove the filter and rinse the sponge.

To clean the rotor, after having removed the filter, release the cover B by turning it counter-clockwise and take out the rotor. Wash everything in lukewarm water, using a soft brush to remove any deposits of scale. Then reassemble the parts.

SuperFlo 2000/3000/4000

The SuperFlo 2000/3000/4000 Pumps are cetrifugal pumps with a magnetic movement, driven by a watertight synchronous motor.

Attention! The ceramic shaft on which the rotor turns may be removed for cleaning, as it is secured at the two ends by two rubber red caps. As with the other parts, wash in lukewarm water using a soft brush to remove scale build up.

SuperFlo 5000/6000

The SuperFlo 5000/6000 are centrifugal pumps suitable for large fountains and for large ponds. They require minimum maintenance - only periodic cleaning of the filter and the rotor.

Remember, before doing any work on your pump, you must unplug it. If you have attached the pond lighting on the pump handle, you must remove it to avoid damaging it. To clean the filter, simply remove the filter and rinse it. To clean the impeller, release the pre-chamber and wash it in running water.

Rinse all parts in lukewarm water, and use a soft brush to remove any scale or other build up.
